Sri Arnab Basu, an NRI, in collaboration with Monginis Foods Private Limited, Mumbai, promoted Switz Foods Private Limited. Subsequently, the Switz Group owned by Mr. Taizoon F Khorakiwala, of the Wockhardt and Akbarally’s Group of Companies, Mumbai, acquired controlling interests in the Company.

The Switz Group, a Multinational Company, is an Associate of Bridel of France, Seweer Rondo of Switzerland, Ulmar Spatz of Germany and Unilever in the Middle East and Far East. The Group operations are spread throughout the Middle East, Far East and Philippines with the total Group turnover being upwards of USD 60 Million. The Group Companies are acknowledged market leaders in Bakery products in the Middle East, having production centres in Saudi Arabia, UAE, and Oman and trading operations in Bakery machinery and ingredients in the above countries and also in Singapore, Malaysia and the Philippines.

The Promoters, Mr. Taizoon F Khorakiwala is a Graduate from BITS, Pilani and an alumnus of Harvard University, USA while Mr. Arnab Basu is an Honours Graduate from Calcutta University and an alumnus of London Business School, UK.
